Security Engineer:
Description
As a Security Engineer, you will be responsible for implementing, maintaining, and enhancing security measures to protect our organization's computer systems, networks, and data. At Kissi & Co, we prioritize a proactive and comprehensive approach to cybersecurity.
Responsibilities
- •Conduct security assessments and risk analyses to identify vulnerabilities and recommend mitigation strategies.
- •Design and implement security measures, including firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and encryption protocols.
- •Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate security best practices into the software development life cycle (SDLC).
- •Monitor and analyze security alerts, incidents, and reports to identify potential threats and vulnerabilities.
- •Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging threats, and cybersecurity best practices.
Qualifications
- •Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- •Proven experience as a Security Engineer or in a similar cybersecurity role.
- •In-depth knowledge of security frameworks, standards, and best practices.
- •Hands-on experience with security tools and technologies.
- •Strong understanding of networking protocols, firewalls, and intrusion detection/prevention systems.
- •Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or CompTIA Security+ are a plus.
Bonus
- •Experience with penetration testing and ethical hacking.
- •Knowledge of cloud security principles and practices.
- •Demonstrated ability to provide security awareness training.
